Parent-Child Teacher

The Washington Waldorf School, located in Bethesda, Maryland is seeking a LeadTeacher for our Parent-Child classes beginning Fall 2024.The teacher will plan and implement the Parent-child classes.Ideally, we would offer two classes on Saturday mornings: one for 1-2 year olds and the other for 2-4 year olds, with three six-week Parent-Child sessions throughout the academic year (Fall, Winter and Spring).There is some flexibility in the details of the schedule.Summer sessions (which need not be held on Saturdays) are also a possibility.The teacher will be paid on a per class basis.The individual must have Waldorf Early childhood certification, experience teaching young children and the ability to meet all Maryland Office of Child Care requirements including a Maryland criminal background check.Washington Waldorf is committed to building a more diverse and inclusive workforce, and we welcome applications from all interested individualsTo apply please email a letter of interest and resume to employment@washingtonwaldorf.org , attn.
