Assistant or Associate Professor of Mathematics

Job SummaryA full-time Tenure-track faculty position, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, in Mathematics starting January 1, 2025 or August 1, 2025. The faculty member will teach in the Department of Science and Mathematics.Primary ResponsibilitiesTeach a full course-load in undergraduate mathematics including majors’ courses in Advanced Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, and Geometry, as well as service courses in Calculus and general education mathematics.Assist Advisees in registering for courses and serve on committees as assigned.Provide ongoing consultation to the Registrar’s Office regarding student placement and course transfer equivalencies.Maintain ongoing assessment of the mathematics major and of the service courses in mathematics in consultation with other disciplinary areas and the General Education program.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Mathematics, doctorate preferred.Demonstrate an active and growing Christian faithCommitment to a Christian liberal arts education with an ability to integrate faith in the discipline in an engaging and compelling mannerPossess collaborative skills to work with colleagues across the Science and Mathematics Department and throughout the universitySalary/BenefitsRank and salary based on qualifications, education, and work experience.Contact InformationApplicants must provide a complete application packet including:Cover LetterJudson Faculty Application
