Position Highlights:

Under the supervision of the Director of CATalyst Studios, the Business Research & Experiential Learning Librarian will provide information services to the Eller College of Management and McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship's diverse group of faculty, students, residents, and fellows. This role emphasizes specialized instruction and research support, experiential learning curriculum development, and a strong understanding of best practices in library and technology pedagogy.

The librarian will engage faculty and instructors to integrate information, digital, and data literacies into their curriculum. Additionally, they will support faculty and graduate students in their research and collaborate with colleagues across the libraries to meet evolving needs.

This is a continuing-eligible or continuing status track, academic professional position. Incumbents are members of the general faculty and are entitled to all accompanying rights and privileges granted by the Arizona Board of Regents and the University of Arizona.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the Eller College of Management and McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship by acting as point of contact for faculty, students, and staff.

Provide virtual, group, and one-on-one consultations for undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty.

Develop and deliver instructional services in business and entrepreneurship, providing active learning opportunities.

Support hands-on, project-based, and interest-driven learning in CATalyst Studios.

Pursue opportunities where the library can facilitate greater research or instructional productivity.

Support the Libraries and UA's diversity and inclusiveness strategic initiatives.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in library/information science from an ALA-accredited institution or other relevant advanced degree.

Experience providing instruction, reference, research consultation services, or workshops.

Experience using business resources in research.

Evidence of the ability to achieve continuing status through service and scholarship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with maker literacies/competencies or emerging technology.

Experience utilizing experiential learning theories in higher education.

Experience incorporating information literacies into the curriculum.

Experience with issues of intellectual property.

Experience developing, marketing, managing, and assessing learning programs.
