The College of Engineering, College of Business and Public Policy, and ISER is seeking applicants for its student employee pool to work with faculty researchers. Successful applicants' duties may include the following: field and/or laboratory and/or other assistance with research projects. Assignments may require short turn-around time between issuance and completion of tasks with general or minimal supervision. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Must be completely dependable and be able to work independently after training. For some positions, the successful candidate must have some knowledge of laboratory procedures. Successful applicants will work on an as needed basis during the academic year and/or summer for a faculty member or faculty members with active research projects.Duties generally are routine in nature and decision-making is limited (e.g., may make routine decisions about assigned work in absence of immediate supervision). May require some previous training, experience and/or knowledge. Good communication skills are essential.To be eligible for student employment an applicant must:Be enrolled in the UA system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employmentHave a 2.0 GPAMinimum Qualifications:High School DiplomaPosition Details:The starting rate of pay for a student employee is $11.34.
