Job Title:

Responsibilities:

Serves as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on sponsored research grants and original research projects.

Conceptualizes, plans, designs, implements and conducts research studies in the areas of Psychiatry, Neuroscience, and Behavioral Health.

Develops and writes grant proposals to seek and obtain funding to support research program.

Secures and maintains NIH RO1 or equivalent funding.

Writes and publishes research in high-quality peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Attends and presents research at national and international scientific conferences.

Develops a national and international scholarly reputation.

Instructs and mentors junior scientists, doctoral and postdoctoral students, medical students, residents, and fellow trainees.

Participates in division, department, college, and university committees and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. Candidates must have earned a doctorate (PhD), Doctor of Medicine (MD), or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study.
