Oregon Educators Benefits Board and Public Employees’ Benefits Board (OEBB/PEBB) Benefits and Technical Analyst (OPA 1)

primary purpose of this position is to support the Benefits Management System (BMS) project team by gathering requirements, testing functionality, troubleshooting errors, and other activities related to the implementation of the replacement BMS. This position also supports the overall objective and goals of OEBB and PEBB by performing, research and analysis for the implementation and administration of multiple benefit plans and programs. This position will provide administration services, serve as a benefits liaison, and provide advocacy support for complex benefits and employee eligibility issues. The Operations & Policy Analyst serves as key resource supporting OEBB and PEBB business partners and interested parties such as district administrators, agency heads, benefit administrators, insurance carriers, and members. The position analyzes, interprets, and communicates OARs, federal and state law, OEBB/PEBB policy and carrier contracts.Work Location:

Optional, 100% in-person or hybrid options are available, with office space in Portland and may require occasional travel to Salem and around the state.
