Under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks will receive consideration. Women and applicants from other groups underrepresented in Chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related field with relevant post-doctoral experience is required.The successful candidate will join a vibrant, collaborative and interdisciplinary materials science and engineering community at UMass Amherst and will also be a member of the recently initiated interdisciplinary materials science and engineering graduate program (MSE IDGP; https://websites.umass.edu/mseidgp/), which brings together over 60 faculty members from the College of Natural Sciences and College of Engineering.Application InstructionsAlong with the application, please submit a cover letter, curriculum vita, statements of research and teaching, a Contributions to Inclusive Excellence Statement (see below), and contact information for three (3) professional references.
