PRES-Office of Marketing and CommunicationsPosition Summary/Purpose of Position:The Executive Assistant to the Vice President for the Office of Marketing and Communications provides executive level administrative support to the Vice President and department, ensuring efficient and effective management of the office. The Executive Assistant will maintain the calendar of the Vice President, serve as the gatekeeper for meeting requests, and act as the primary contact for the Vice President while ensuring confidentiality.This position will prepare meeting materials and agendas, arrange technology support, manage event planning and logistics for departmental meetings and events, and coordinate all travel arrangements for the Vice President.The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant serves as a liaison between the Vice President and internal/external stakeholders, coordinates complex schedules, and oversees special projects as needed.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.Experience:Minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing administrative support to senior level positions.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat.Demonstrates problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and decision-making skills.Time and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and work with deadlines.Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and tact while maintaining strict confidentiality.Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.Preferences:Experience working in higher education or a similar institutional environment.Familiarity with marketing and communication principles and practices.Salary range:

$92,000-$115,000.Physical Demands:Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
