To be considered for this role, we'd prefer you have:2+ years' experience in the environmental industry, specifically wetlands.Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline, with plans to continue your education with additional schooling or certifications.Proven technical writing skills.2+ years' experience with soils and plants of New England.Experience reading and interpreting site plans.Experience and knowledge of state and local wetland regulations.Experience working with contractors.GIS experience.Specific Experience Requirements
As an Environmental Scientist, you'll need a background in this kind of work. While we can teach some of the finer details, you'll need to:Perform wetland delineations and wetland permitting (NOI, 401/404).Perform construction inspection and reporting.Represent projects and clients at Conservation Commission hearings.Interact with clients and contractors as directed by the Project Manager.Be able to work in a variety of field conditions that involve working outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain, at times for several consecutive hours.About Goddard Consulting LLC
