Overall Position Summary and ObjectivesUnder this task order, the contractor will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services.Clean Equipment - Ad-HocInspect Equipment - Ad-HocMeet with lab members to present updates - Ad-HocConduct experiments on the growth and phenotypes of CRISPR edited cells - Ad-HocSummarize and present research results to laboratory, department, and conference meetings - Ad-HocPrepare and publish research papers that describe experimental results - Ad-HocCollect and analyze biological data about relationships among and between organisms and their environment.Monitor and observe experiments, recording production and test data for evaluation by research personnel.Culture mammalian cells and iPS cells.Coordinate the work of biological technicians and technologists and other scientists.Prepare research manuscripts for publication.Provide technical experience needed to assist in studying the basic principles of plant and animal life.Plan and administer biological research programs.Study basic principles of plant and animal life, such as origin, relationship, development, anatomy, and function.Develop and maintain liaisons and effective working relations with groups and individuals, agencies, and the public to encourage cooperative management strategies or to develop information and interpret findings.Assist with performing basic laboratory experiments and procedures.Analyze experimental data and interpret results to write reports and summaries of findings.Provide lab with support and training to operate real-time and digital PCR equipment.Prepare, organize and maintain various lab samples, supplies, and equipment.Operate, calibrate, or maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis, such as spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, or computer-controlled analyzers.Operate laboratory equipment to analyze samples.Analyze laboratory findings.Manage and organize storage of all lab frozen stocks of mammalian cells.Learn new laboratory techniques and procedures.Program and use computers to store, process, and analyze data.Monitor operational procedures in technical environments to ensure conformance to standards.Interpret research or operational data.Record research or operational data.Conduct literature searches to identify new methods to culture and differentiate iPS cells that prevent premature differentiation.Minimum Qualifications:PhD in biological sciences.Field of Study:Molecular BiologyGeneticsDisclaimer:
