The Department of Psychological Science invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month tenure track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2025. UA Little Rock is a doctoral-intensive metropolitan university serving a diverse student body of approximately 10,000 full- and part-time students. The Department of Psychological Science houses one of the largest degree programs at UALR with about 500 active majors, state-of-the-art classrooms, and both flexible and fixed laboratory resources (e.g., statistics, developmental, bio-behavioral, and emotion-cognition laboratories). Ph.D. in Psychology, ABD considered.Preferred Education and Experience:

A focus in one of the following: Human Factors, Emotion and Motivation, Learning, Psychometrics, Quantitative Psychology, or Human Experimental Psychology; Experience teaching Psychological Statistics and Research Methods in Psychology; Existing scholarship in the area of expertise.Application materials must be submitted through the online application system.
