Location- Downtown Seattle- Onsite
Salary: 58,000-72,000 DOE

Our client, an award-winning company based in Downtown Seattle, is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their team. This on-site role offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative firm known for its excellence and creativity in the industry.

Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

As the Staff Accountant, your main duties will include:

• Managing and executing the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Reconciling general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and credit card statements.
• Maintaining and updating the general ledger, ensuring all transactions comply with accounting standards.
• Preparing and posting journal entries with proper documentation.
• Managing the fixed assets register, including depreciation and disposals.
• Assisting with special accounting projects and providing analysis as needed.

Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Deltek is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
