Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
3. Manage and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and adherence to policies and regulations.
4. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management.
5. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and managing the preparation of necessary materials.
6. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
7. Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
8. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and provide financial insight and guidance.
9. Continually improve systems and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A CPA or MBA is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the wine or beverage industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of financial management, financial analysis, and accounting principles and procedures.
4. Proven experience in leading and managing financials.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
6. Excellent knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
7. Proficiency in accounting software and other business-related software.
8. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
