Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,170 per week

Certification Details Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Job Details A large system in Nebraska/Iowa is looking for multiple ICU RN's. 13 weeks, 36 hours/wk. Looking for positive nurses willing to work with others as a team to overcome challenges. Job Requirements ICU RN experience ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Schedule Information 13 weeks, 36 hours/wk Shifts & Scheduling: 7-7 / 6-week scheduling done by a scheduler Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Will rotate with perm staff Floating Requirements: Can float to PCU or MedSurg Unit Specific Information - Beds: 16 - Ratios: 1:2, occasionally 1:3 - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Variety of ICU acuity patients- vented patients, BIS scoring, TTM, IABP (rarely) - Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Vasopressors/inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, insulin - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: No - Hospitalist &/or Intensivist in house 24/7? In the ICU 24/7?: eICU support in 14 rooms Additional Details - Beds: 16 - Ratios: 1:2, occasionally 1:3 - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Variety of ICU acuity patients- vented patients, BIS scoring, TTM, IABP (rarely) - Are RNs required to titrate drips? In the ICU 24/7?: eICU support in 14 rooms - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: Classroom orientation and then 2-12 hour shifts on the unit Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
