Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,170 per week

Certification Details BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Job Details A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for a night ICU RN. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience. Job Requirements 2 years of unit experience RNs are required to titrate drips Common titratable &/or set rate drips include: Vasopressors, Insulin, TNK, Heparin, IV Antibiotics, Sedatives RNs must read and interpret tele monitors Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2 for ICU patients, for medical patients 1:5, and PCU at 1:4 Schedule Information 12 hour shifts, 0630-1900, 1830-0700 36 hours guaranteed Every other weekend Holiday requirements vary, based on unit needs Schedule is done by unit scheduler Unit Specific Information Shift & Scheduling details: Self-scheduling allowed? Information not provided Unit/department specific orientation: First week system orientation and onboarding. 1-2 12 hour shifts of unit orientation Additional Details Common diagnoses/Types of patients: COPD, pneumonia, CVA, TIA, DKA, sepsis, CHF, STEMI, neuro Charge Nurse on each shift, charge nurse takes assignment Nurse aids/patient care techs on unit, ratios and duties vary 24/7 critical care coverage, E-ICU staffed with nurse and APRN 24/7 RT Equipment handled: Vents, BiPAPs Floating Requirements: Will float to PCU and Medical floors Navy Blue scrub color/dress code Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
