Machinist - Level 4

As a Machinist - Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our machining processes to ensure the production of high-quality parts. You will operate and set up various machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate precision components. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations and the overall growth of our business.

You will report directly to our Machine Shop Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and quality of our machining processes by operating and setting up machines, interpreting blueprints and specifications, and conducting quality inspections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and set up machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate precision componentsInterpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operationsConduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standardsTroubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production flowCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar roleProficiency in operating and setting up machines, such as lathes, mills, and grindersStrong knowledge of machining processes and techniquesAbility to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsAttention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
