M/S Tele RN Nights and EOW - 36hrs.

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry I Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Nights & Every Other Weekend Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Ability to read telemetry strips Job Description: - Work in a Surgical Stepdown Unit comprising two Med/Surgical Units, with a total bed count of 23.- Provide care for patients after surgeries, including General, GYN, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, Oral, Plastics, and Trauma.- Expected to float to different units as needed.- Rotating shifts are not required for night positions.- Provide telemetry monitoring, including reading tele strips.- Manage chest tubes, NGT, epidurals, and capnography.- Preferred skills: management of arterial lines and neo-synephrine.- Maintain clinician-to-patient ratios of 3-5 patients per RN and 2-3 per RN in the Stepdown Unit.- Use EPIC as the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Please note that this role requires a strong ability to manage critical patient care tasks and to assist with various surgical recovery procedures.
