Weekly Pay Range - $1999 To $2221 Job Title: RN Telemetry I Job Specialty: RN Telemetry I Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Ability to read telemetry strips Job Description: - Work in a Surgical Stepdown Unit consisting of two med/surgical units: one with 15 beds and another with 8 beds.- Floating between units is required.- Rotating shifts are required for all day positions, with shifts ranging from 7 AM to 7 PM, 11 AM to 11 PM, and 7 PM to 7 AM.- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, and management of chest tubes, NGT, epidurals, and capnography.- Preferred skills include management of arterial lines and use of neo-synephrine.- Clinician to patient ratio ranges from 3-5 patients per RN and 2-3 in stepdown settings.- Care for a diverse patient population post-surgery including General, GYN, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, Oral, Plastics, and Trauma cases.- The unit has a bed capacity and census of 23.- Utilize the EPIC Charting System for electronic medical records.
