Quality Technician - Night Shift $25/hr plus night shift premium.

IMC is expanding it's operation in Shelby, NC and building a new factory on the property. We are looking for enthusiastic hard working members to join our great team. this position will work a 4X4 schedule, 12 hour shift.Summary: This position is responsible for monitoring the quality and specifications of all products coming in and leaving the facility. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to work independently and is a self-starter.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform routine testing on a SpectrometerPerform routine testing on the Lecro Ro400Consistently communicate with management regarding any test results that may affect productionMaintain safe and clean work area at all timesPerform data entry for all test results and share with managementBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Ability to analyze and make informed decisions regarding the test resultsBasic knowledge of dilutions and chemistryOther duties as assignedRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. When working with Cress furnaces face shields and hot gloves are required. While working with chemicals or acids, rubber or non-latex acid resistant gloves are required.
