In this key leadership role you will be responsible for leading the sales function of the market within Health Solutions.This position requires extensive coordination and partnering efforts across Aon; Health Local Practice Leader, Resident Sales Director, Resident Managing Director, US Health Solutions Sales Leader and various others based on need and opportunity.Drive growth – Achieve the market’s annual new business goalsDevelop and implement annual sales plans, consistent with objectives set by the practice and market(s)Develop and maintain a sales-focused culture across the office/marketIdentify and recruit top production talent in marketWork on significant and unique issues requiring proficiency in a complex area requiring a broad grasp of Health and Benefits businessProficient at all aspects of the health care ecosystem and alignment of Aon solutionsLead sales activities for a defined geographyCoach, mentor, and assist colleagues in achievement of their personal and overall market goalsChannel management strategy, execution & coaching, to encompass Health new and expanded sales from sales channelsCoordination & execution of marketing events and sales follow-up action plans, in close collaboration with marketing personnelAdministration of Health Sales Operations, including sales goal setting and allocation, pipeline analysis and reporting, revenue recognition, new business forecasting and pipeline managementPoint person for resourcing initial prospect meetings/closing detailsAssist/coach on presentations and finalist meetingsConduct competitive analyses and review of sales performance and positioningExpectationsMaintain a thorough understanding of Health and Human Capital businesses and the potential for integrated opportunitiesInfluence colleagues to work together effectively within and across business lines nationally, regionally, and globallyTarget new and existing clients with values-based solutionsProactively and consistently interact and communicate with prospects, clients, market partnersLead local market recruiting efforts and maintain current knowledge of talent in the marketProduce at minimum, one times annual salarySkills and experience that will lead to successTen plus years in health and benefit sales, consulting and/or sales leadershipExperience with sales pipeline management and forecastingPrior experience managing direct reportsEducation:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experienceMasters of Business Administration is a plusAppropriate Insurance License/Life and HealthHow we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive production incentives in addition to base salary.
