Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Teradata Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Teradata development, with a strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL optimization. The Senior Teradata Developer will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining Teradata solutions to meet the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Teradata solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications. Perform data analysis, data modeling, and database design to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of Teradata systems. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Teradata databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data architects, and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and team members. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teradata databases, performance tuning, and data integrity. Stay up-to-date with the latest Teradata technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and performance. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Teradata, including data modeling, database design, SQL programming, and ETL development. Strong proficiency in Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT. Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of Teradata databases. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL frameworks. Experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU), Teradata Viewpoint, and Teradata QueryGrid is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Teradata certification(s) is a plus.
