JOB SUMMARY This position provides technical support for Windows, MAC, and Linux computers, applications, and related technology, including installation, and testing of systems and peripherals. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving unique problems, supporting internal servers, and performing independent analyses and problem-solving. The role requires both independent work and collaboration within a team. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop and laptop computers, peripheral equipment and software within the established standards and guidelines. Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop/laptop computing equipment and software. Works with other Help Desk and Systems Engineering staff to identify and resolve issues. Recommends and/or performs upgrades on systems to ensure longevity. Assists in maintaining LAN/WAN and telecom gear. Assignment of IAM/SSO applications Administer Microsoft 365/Entra/Azure services. Manage Privilege Management, Remote Access services, and VPN solutions. Use designated applications to maintain hardware and software inventory, ensuring both operating systems and third-party software are up to date. Document work via ticketing and other task management as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Strong knowledge or PC and Laptop computer hardware and troubleshooting. Excellent written and verbal communications. Effective time management abilities combined with attention to detail. Able to maintain confidential information. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Understanding of or ability to acquire telecom support skills related to user requirements. Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking as it pertains to user support. Occasional travel to other Momentum Offices, which may include overnight stays. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Skilled in installing and troubleshooting software on both PC and MAC systems. Knowledge of IP phone systems as related to supported users. Strong goal setting, follow-up, and achievement skills. Ability to independently diagnose issues with hardware, software, and networks.
