Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) Shop Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in programming robotics both at-machine and via CAM software. Familiar with hardware controls and preventative maintenance practices. The programmer will also be responsible for software maintenance.

Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
•Robotics Programming: Develop and modify robotic programs for a variety of machinery and equipment via Siemens NX CAM and Fanuc RoboGuide.•Perform program prove-out, post-process editing and optimization to ensure efficient and accurate machining and robotic operations. Expertise with Allen Bradley, Siemens, & Fanuc controllers as well as Fanuc, ABB & Yaskawa robots. Programming support for our global shops as required.•PLM & SOA: Ability to implement a Software Quality Assurance process as well as conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure accuracy and consistency in programming and machining operations.•Software Maintenance and IT Support: Perform regular software updates and patches with associated systems. Facilitate with equipment OEM on technical issues related to robotics, HMIs, and PLM systems.•Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimization, and automation. Troubleshoot and document programming issues and implement corrective actions to meet FAA quality standards.•Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance and repair activities. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to minimize hazards and risks in the MRO shop.
Minimum Requirements :Associate degree or a High School diploma/GED and a minimum 3 years of experience with robotic systems and their applications in a manufacturing environment.Desired Characteristics :
Able to read and interpret general robot controls circuits and application drawings, machine controls design and logic drawings, PLC logic and robotic.Experience with Siemens NX CAM and Fanuc RoboGuide.Knowledgeable of PLM & SOA software such as Team Center and Predator.Karel programming knowledge.Servo-robot or other automatic path programming experience.Knowledge or familiarity with CNC Programmer to create CNC programs and machining instructions.Good math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry, and physics.Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specificationsFluent in basic English knowledge.Communication skills necessary for interfacing with cross-functional teams (engineering, technologies, quality).
