Summary
This position is for a board-trained pathologist to serve in a clinical manner for our group at one of our service sites but with coverage at other sites as needed. This position will mostly involve Anatomic Pathology with Clinical Pathology oversight of an associated clinical laboratory. A small portion of the time will be devoted to Medical Director duties.
Generic Duty--provides the highest quality patient care in a diagnostic setting with direct patient care impactSpecific Position Duty-Serves as medical director for associated clinical laboratorySpecific Position Duty-Provides input to the leadership team on local needs and budgetary issuesThe pathologist will provide all diagnostic support in accord with both the Department handbook and the BCM faculty handbook
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD degree.Board certified or board eligible.Good communication skills and be willing to adapt to the digital transformation of the field.
