Role: IT Support Engineer

Location: Midtown Manhattan NY (ONSITE)

Duration: Full Time perm

Salary: $120k+ (Negotiable) + Bonus + benefits

Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of progressive technical support experience supporting key senior employees. The candidate should possess educational and personal achievement along with a passion for technology. Financial experience is not a prerequisite, but an interest in the application of technology to support an investment management environment is a must. Providing excellent customer support and quickly learning new technologies will be necessary in this position. Candidates should expect to support applications, desktops, and scripts throughout their life cycles. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, personable, have exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and an unrelenting drive to implement effective solutions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management Information Systems or Computer Sciences4+ years of progressive work experience providing IT supporting and implementing end user systems in an enterprise environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Operating Systems, and cyber securityExperience supporting VOIP and SIP video conferencing technologiesExperience supporting MDM/MAM solutionsAvailability for night and weekend on-call work as well as light travelKnowledge of desktop and server hardware, including performance optimizationFundamental knowledge of IP networking, routing, and system securityInstall, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and management toolsExperience utilizing PowerShell in management of systemsExcellent written and verbal communications skills and strong customer service experienceExperience supporting Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange, and DomainsProven technical documentation skillsInsatiable level of technical curiosityMust be physically able to lift and carry computers and other related equipment of up to 50 lbs
