Express Employment Professionals is actively recruiting for a general laborer and production worker within a retail and wholesale animal feed company. This position has the potential of turning into a long-term position.
Schedule:
Monday - Saturday, 8:00am - 6:00pm - Must be willing to work Mondays and Saturdays!
Pay:
$18.00/ hr
Key Responsibilities:
Heavy lifting unload and loading a truck. Organizing warehouse. Potential to train on forklift. Bagging Feed bags Mixing feed moving product around the facility, someone that can think good on their feet, trainable and wants to work hard.Loading and unloading commercial and residential vehicles to provide animal feeds to retail and wholesale customers.
Qualities Required:
Ability to perform basic math skillsAbility to understand and follow English directionsAbility to transfer up to 70lbs to vehicles and hand cart for a distance of three feetNot allergic to grains
Physical Requirements:
Very heavy lifting, up to 70lbs independently
Equipment Used:
Pellet mills, hammer mills, mixers, electric pallet jack, dollies, carts, large totes, and forklift.
Dress Code:
Dress Code: Causal. Jeans are ok, no holes in jeans, T-shirts, no logo. No tank tops or jewelry. Over the ankle work boots required.
Essential Functions:
Produces custom and standard mixed feeds for retail and wholesale customers.Meet production schedules and deadlines for retail and wholesale customers.Load and unload trucks and vehicles with grain and hay product either manually or with forklift as needed.Assures adherence to all company internal and external policies and procedures.Housekeeping is another responsibility. Worker is required to assist in keeping all departments listed on the housekeeping schedule clean.This is a fast-paced and physically demanding position.
