Position Title: Door Assembler
Schedule: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay: $19 per hour
Location: Clackamas
Key Responsibilities:
Bonding doors and trimming doors using machineryPlanning doors and adjusting width on machineryReading press schedule and blueprints for the dayAdjusting clamps to allow doors to dryHanging doors on frames for finishingCompleting various tasks as assigned
Job Description:Assemble building material components such as wall panels, roof and floor trusses, doors, or windows.Process includes insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts, and using hand and power tools.Plan and implement the assembly process based on set-up sheets, work orders, drawings, or blueprints.Gather necessary materials and tools to complete orders.Ensure assembled items meet specific quality specifications.Propose process improvements to increase finished quality or assembly efficiency.Plan and pace own work efficiency to meet production goals.Respond attentively to training from Supervisor or more senior assemblers.Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices.Attend periodic safety meetings and recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Ability to stand and work continuously throughout the day.Heavy lifting required (50 to 100 lbs), team lifting for weights over 50 lbs.Previous assembly or carpentry experience preferred, or warehouse experience.High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent.

Planner.Basic hand tools.Clamps.Splicers.Power tools.
