Job Details:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time, permanent position on the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our production operations, ensuring that our manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate all production and operational processes during the 1st shift.
  2. Ensure the safety, quality, and quantity of production.
  3. Lead a team of production workers and ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
  4. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  5. Implement performance management systems, including individual assessments and team performance reviews.
  6. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  7. Work closely with the management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems, and to follow through with implementation.
  8. Collaborate with other supervisors and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives.
  9. Train new employees on equipment operations and work procedures.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.
  3. Advanced skills in MS Office and data analysis software.
  4. Deep knowledge of production management.
  5. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  6. Proven track record in a leadership role, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  7. Experience in performance management and team development.
  8. Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
  11. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Logistics, or related field is preferred.
