Senior Buyer

ViewRay is currently looking for an experienced Senior Buyer who will share our passion for conquering cancer and help us support Radiation Therapy systems worldwide. The ideal candidate shares enthusiasm for engaging in the best business practices while improving cancer therapy. As an individual contributor, the Senior Buyer will:utilize project management skillsindependently analyze and resolve problemsdemonstrate strong oral and written communication skillsdocument, plan, market, and execute programsResponsibilities:Develop and maintain an understanding of key business drivers and the critical role of supply chain in ensuring company success.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across service, installations, R&D, regulatory, quality, and finance to establish sourcing strategy.Develop forecasting and predictability models from data.Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best contractual terms while adhering to company policies and ensuring supply chain continuity.Process purchase requests, create, and place orders with approved vendors.Communicate with the business about design and coordination services rendered.Advise R&D on the definition of parts and materials during development to optimize product sourcing for future products and releases.Ensure purchasing processes and materials handling compliance with ISO 13485 in a FDA regulated environment.Required Experience with:Medical DevicesMRP and ERP systemsForecasting and predictability-based purchasingInternational purchasing and ocean transitEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.At least ten (10) years of proven experience in purchasing, inventory, and vendor management in a medical device environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbility to Commute:Oakwood Village, OH (Preferred)Work Location: In person
