The Compliance Support Specialist assists the compliance department with activities, projects, and documentation related to the compliance program. Responsibilities include risk assessment support, training tracking, and accreditation processes. The role requires collaboration with various departments to maintain a strong compliance framework and effective risk management, excelling in fast-paced environments, and using advanced technology, Excel, dashboards, and tracking systems. Strong communication, time management, and technical skills are essential for meeting compliance objectives.Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experienceStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Attention to detail and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with compliance management software is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team.Sound judgment and capability to perform clerical tasks independently.Commitment to HIPAA, professional ethics, and confidentiality.Adherence to infection control procedures (temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom monitoring, masking, social distancing).Must possess a valid driver license, insurable driving record, and be willing to travel across WellSpace Health service locations.Essential Responsibilities

Track and document risk assessments and results.Monitor and report on risk assessment findings and follow-up actions.Track and document employee compliance training, ensuring all staff complete required training.Maintain compliance training records and provide regular completion and effectiveness reports.Coordinate training sessions and update materials as needed.Organize documentation and maintain compliance logs.Prepare documentation for compliance and accreditation surveys and audits.Track and document internal and external audits and compliance reviews.Prepare compliance activities status reports, recommend improvements, and maintain accurate documentation.Analyze compliance activities and generate reports to facilitate informed decision-making.Create and maintain compliance databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems.Support and participate in the compliance projects and initiatives.Adhere to the Code of Conduct and demonstrate commitment to professional ethics, HIPAA, and maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive compliance-related information.Promote a safety culture by reporting hazards, errors, and potential patient safety issues.Work effectively under minimal supervision, with accountability for specific goals and objectives within designated timelines.Exhibit problem-solving, conflict management, dependability and team-building skills to foster a productive work environment.Support the compliance department to meet standards of High Reliability.Execute additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.Benefits
