The Compliance Support Specialist monitors/analyzes data for compliance for various departments statewide. Duties may include: uses independent judgment to conduct regular internal monitoring of data to ensure compliance, utilizes compliance tools, collaborates with management to prepare for external and internal compliance monitoring reviews, collaborates with and informs management of compliance and monitoring findings, assists in developing policy and procedures for quality assurance and compliance standards, maintains audit reports and required documents. This position will generate special reports as requested. The Compliance Support Specialist will monitor the tracking system to ensure compliance of state regulations and policies and provide support, as needed, in formal internal and external audits statewide.

Essential Job Functions:

Audit data in various departments as neededComply with applicable state regulations, policies, and proceduresAnalyze audit results and generate reports for management teamEnsure compliance with regulationsEnsure organizational policies and procedures are being followedAssist in ensuring necessary documentation is collected for various programs statewideIdentify potential risks statewidePlay a key role in preparing for state and internal auditsAssist in creating statewide policiesProvide training to staff as needed on regulations and policiesAdditional duties as assignedEducation

& Experience:

Education

The MINIMUM formal relevant education required by the position. Relevant experience/certifications in lieu of formal education will be considered.

High school or GED requiredAA degree in Business or related field preferredExperience

The MINIMUM relevant experience necessary to qualify for the position.

1-3 years' experience in compliance/quality control, data entry, or clerical positionsOther Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Title 5 Regulations and familiarity with subsidized funding eligibility experience preferredExperienced with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access (or related databases)Competent in PC and keyboarding skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEffective time management, planning, organizational, and follow-up skillsTeam-oriented and ability to multi-taskFlexibility and ability to prioritize a shifting workloadAbility to work in a deadline driven environmentAbility to maintain confidentiality of family informationAbility to carry out scheduled activities independently after trainingShift Type:

Full Time, Hybrid

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:30am - 4:30pm

Compensation:

$19.46 - $29.19 hourly
