Imports and Bank Reconciliation Analyst

who will be responsible for interpreting complicated payment and allocation spreadsheets, creating guidelines and manipulating data for import into the system of record, and preparing complex bank reconciliations for the Operations department on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This function will drive the creation of standard procedures and perform the duties outlined below. Specific functional responsibility includes interpreting complex spreadsheets and analyzing the same against merger and agreement documentation, ensuring that all data in the system of record is accurate, and preparing bank reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner in order to support accurate reporting both internally and externally.This position can be fully remote.The salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $65,000, depending on level of experience.Primary ResponsibilitiesInterpret and audit payment and allocation spreadsheets, create guidelines for interpretation of data, manipulate data for import to system of recordImport and export files for use in system of record (NetSuite)Confirm data is imported accurately for reporting to shareholdersWork with other teams to ensure the data received meets all requirements for import into system of recordEnsure Operations manuals and guidelines are up to date so they can be relied upon for business continuation situationsManage vendor relationships and respond to vendor and shareholder inquiries in accordance with our Customer Service standardsPerform reconciliation of escrow and paying accounts and resolve outstanding breaks while driving systematic improvement of processesRequired Qualifications & Skills2-3 years financial operations analyst experienceAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and formula writing, and interpretation required; VBA experience a plusExperience with sophisticated ERP systems and developing work streams and work-arounds to accomplish the desired business task or requirementExperience working within a cross-functional and cross-geographical environmentHigh awareness of operational risk, critical timelines and of the complex nature of a financial operations environment with an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of the M&A process is a plusAbility to work outside of business hours on an as-needed basisDesired CharacteristicsSelf-motivatedIntellectually curiousOperates with highest integrity and attention to detailPassionate about efficient, scalable business processesPhysical Requirements/Special DemandsMust be available to work standard business hours, and occasional nights/weekends.Travel may be necessary, up to 20% of the year, and may not be scheduled in advance.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
