ASSESSMENT FACTORS

Builds recognition across the branch and division as a subject matter expert in cyber, data, and/or adversarial deceptions; strives to consult with stakeholders to apply instructional standards for training solutions.

With no supervision, completes work, meets priorities, and achieves results based on the organization’s goals and objectives.

Develops ability to work in at least one TE role (i.e., Instructional System Designer, Instructor, and Learning Development Specialist).

Presents a positive, professional image of the office to all clients, colleagues, and leadership in spoken and written complex communications.

Identifies and works to eliminate conditions that impede within-team and across-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS

Recent experience (within past 5 years) related to Cyber intelligence/operations, Adversarial Deception, & Data Analytics.

Ability to teach in a variety of modalities (e.g., classroom, mobile classroom, synchronous, and asynchronous online delivery, mobile training team).

Undergraduate or advanced degree in adult education, intelligence, or a certified training program.

Individual Occupational Requirements

Education

Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.

Or

Experience

General Experience (for GS-5 positions): Experience that provided evidence of the ability to instruct students in the use of equipment, principles, or practices of the subject or occupation. This experience may have been gained as a teacher or instructor; in on-the-job supervision or instruction of subordinates or fellow workers; or in work involving application of the principles, practices, and techniques of the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled.

Specialized Experience (for positions above GG-5): Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:

Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).

Supervising or administering a training program.

Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.

Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
