Opportunity Description:The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2024-2025 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in Counseling Psychology. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.Basic Teaching DutiesCourse Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities:Teach in person once or twice a week (depending on course);Create and maintain course Canvas container;Meet with students as needed;Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate;Grade in a timely manner;Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed;If the course includes multiple sections, collaborate with instructors of other sections.Required QualificationsMaster’s DegreePrevious teaching experienceSuccessful teaching/facilitation experience with adults at the graduate level.Preferred QualificationsPhDSuccessful teaching/facilitation experience with adults in graduate education programs.Application DeadlineApplications are currently being accepted and reviewed for the 2024-2025 academic year.
