Opportunity Description:The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2024-2025 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in Counseling Psychology. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar’s Office schedule of classes at

This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.Basic Teaching DutiesCourse Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities:Teach in person once or twice a week (depending on course);Create and maintain course Canvas container;Meet with students as needed;Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate;Grade in a timely manner;Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed;If the course includes multiple sections, collaborate with instructors of other sections.Required QualificationsMaster’s DegreePrevious teaching experienceSuccessful teaching/facilitation experience with adults at the graduate level.Preferred QualificationsPhDSuccessful teaching/facilitation experience with adults in graduate education programs.Application DeadlineApplications are currently being accepted and reviewed for the 2024-2025 academic year. Please submit your interest no later than June 30th, 2025 to be considered.Course Rate$1,193 per credit hour taught.The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting.
