Should we have an opening and be interested in pursuing your application, we will contact you with specific information.Position SummaryThe Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2024-2025 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Teaching and Learning Sciences department, School Psychology program. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.Essential FunctionsCollaborate with faculty course lead to adapt and deliver course.Create and maintain course Canvas container.Meet with students as needed.Respond to student communication in a timely manner.Assign papers, exams, and other deliverables as appropriate.Grade in a timely manner.Maintain regular communication with the faculty lead, particularly if a student-related issue arises.Required QualificationsMasters or terminal degree (depending on the course).Teaching or clinic experience.Preferred QualificationsTeaching experience in both birth-12 setting and higher education.Experience with inclusive pedagogy and commitment to diversity.Experience using technology to facilitate adult learning.Content expertise (depending on the course—e.g., assessment, counseling, etc.).Work ScheduleWhile the University's administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.Application DeadlineApplications are currently being accepted and reviewed for the 2024-2025 academic year on a rolling basis.
