Should we have an opening and be interested in pursuing your application, we will contact you with specific information.Position SummaryThe Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management at Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver is looking to hire industry professionals for the 2023-2024 academic year to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, such as Introduction to Hospitality Management, Sales and Marketing, Special Event Management, Beverage Management, Advanced Bev Management, Wines of the World, Managing a Restaurant Business, Asset Management as well as special-topics courses.Industry professionals are compensated at a rate of $1193.00 per credit hour and may teach up to a maximum of six courses over three academic quarters (Fall, Winter, Spring). This posting will serve for multiple openings.Essential FunctionsIndustry professionals are required to teach twice a week, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. The University operates on a quarter system.Required QualificationsPrevious teaching experience.Ability to teach at the university level.Preferred QualificationsPh.D.Work ScheduleWhile the University’s administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.Application DeadlineFor consideration, please submit your application materials by
