Should we have an opening and be interested in pursuing your application, we will contact you with specific information.Position SummaryThe Department of Mathematics at the University of Denver is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2023 - 2024 academic year to teach a variety of courses. This posting will be utilized to seek applicants for teaching for both adjunct and faculty overload. This posting will serve for multiple openings.Essential FunctionsTeaching adjunct faculty are required to teach as determined by the course schedule, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. The University operates on a quarter system. Details of teaching responsibilities will be provided by the department at the time of hire.Required QualificationsMSPrevious teaching experience, ability to teach at the university levelPreferred QualificationsPhDWork ScheduleWhile the University's administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.Application DeadlineApplications are currently being accepted and reviewed for the 2023-2024 academic year.Special InstructionsCandidates must apply online through jobs.du.edu to be considered.
