As a Consulting Interim CFO in the Technology industry, you will be playing a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our rapidly growing tech firm. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in corporate finance and strategic planning to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's financial health, helping us navigate the complexities of the tech industry while ensuring we meet our financial objectives. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively balance multiple tasks, from financial forecasting to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning and forecasting process, ensuring the company has a clear and executable financial strategy
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including revenue, cash flow, and other key performance indicators, to the executive team and board of directors
• Develop and implement effective financial management strategies to enhance profitability and cash flow
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization
• Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs, and regulatory action
• Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly desirable
• 5+ years of experience in a CFO or equivalent role, preferably within the technology industry
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Solid understanding of data analysis, risk management, and performance metrics
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance law and proficiency in managing financial software
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
