Our firm is seeking a Consulting Real Estate Attorney on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry, particularly in the area of real estate law. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on matters related to real estate, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, property disputes, and other related issues. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic team and make a significant impact on our client's real estate transactions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal advice and guidance related to real estate transactions, including the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of purchase and sale agreements.
  2. Advise clients on legal matters concerning real estate, including property rights, zoning issues, and lease agreements.
  3. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support decision-making and advise clients on potential legal risks.
  4. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, if necessary.
  5. Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and court decisions that may affect real estate law and transactions.
  6. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a seamless service to clients.
  7. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve complex real estate issues.
  8. Manage all legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence.
  9. Offer legal interpretation and recommendations to clients to guide them in their decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the state bar of Washington preferred, other states will be considered
  3. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney
  4. Extensive knowledge of real estate law, including experience with purchase and sale agreements.
  5. Proven experience representing clients in real estate transactions and disputes.
  6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to advise and guide clients effectively.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  8. Proficient in legal research and ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  12. Proven track record of attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
