Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year
A bit about us:Our client, a well-known global manufacturing company, is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its growing team.

- Assist the Regional Controller in managing all financial operations of the firm, including budgeting, forecasting, audit, and internal control systems.
- Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA would be a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to present complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
