ACCOUNTING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the month-end close process
• Oversee AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll, and cost accounting
• Handle inventory management and cost accounting functions
• Assist the Controller with monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Support the annual budget process, quarterly forecasts, and provide financial analysis comparing actual results to forecasts
• Conduct balance sheet analysis for key accounts, including inventory, and oversee account reconciliations
• Lead process improvements and help better utilize the company's new planning tools
• Assist with the integration of new acquisitions into the business unit

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred, with an understanding of cost and inventory management
