Are you an experienced Estimator looking for a challenging and rewarding role within the Construction industry? We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent Estimator. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll have the chance to make a significant impact on our projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Estimator, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

1. Developing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
2. Reviewing and interpreting construction blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the scope of work and to identify potential issues.
3. Conducting detailed Material Take Off (MTO) to determine the quantities and types of materials needed for each project.
4. Participating in project bidding processes, preparing detailed bid packages, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.
5. Conducting cost analysis and budgeting, ensuring that all estimates are aligned with the project's financial objectives.
6. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop project schedules and plans.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest construction methods, materials, and trends to provide the most accurate and competitive estimates.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Estimator position should possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating or a related field.
2. Proven experience in project bidding, material take off (MTO), blueprint reading, cost analysis, and budgeting.
3. A deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry trends.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
6. High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
7. Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant computer applications.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
