Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing all accounting operations related to our properties, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and in compliance with legal and financial rules and regulations.
  2. Handling operating expenses (OPEX) and OPEX revenue, ensuring all expenses are properly accounted for and revenue is accurately reported.
  3. Using MRI software to manage property accounting, including setting up new properties, updating existing properties, and generating financial reports.
  4. Collaborating with property managers and other team members to ensure all financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
  5. Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, providing recommendations for financial improvements.
  6. Assisting in budget preparation and financial planning, providing insights into property financials.
  7. Conducting regular audits to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA designation is a plus.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, preferably within the real estate industry.
  3. Proven experience handling operating expenses (OPEX) and OPEX revenue.
  4. Proficiency in MRI software, with the ability to manage property accounting and generate accurate financial reports.
  5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies in financial data.
  8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  9. A team player, with the ability to collaborate with other team members and departments.
