Thank you for considering Allspring as you explore the next step in your career journey.POSITIONDevelop and drive the execution of the intermediary DCIO strategy and sales effort in the context of the broader Allspring retirement strategy. As the Head of DCIO, you will lead a team of Defined Contribution Investment field specialists and operate in a player-coach capacity across the National Account function to grow our presence in the DCIO market. We are looking for a leader who embodies collaboration, transparency and accountability who will inspire and mobilize a team to provide our clients with clarity and confidence regarding investment solutions for their end clients.RESPONSIBILITIESLead, develop and inspire a team of DCIO National Account and field specialistsIdentify and influence decision makers at the highest level of DC Aggregator and Recordkeeper organizations that improve the depth of relationships and grow Allspring's AUM through partnerships that include solutions on recommended lists, PEPs, 3(28)'s, managed accounts and other model opportunities.Collaborate deeply across distribution and with internal teams including marketing, Institutional and Retail sales teams, product and investment teams to create consistent client experiences.Build, maintain, and execute upon complex and detailed distribution plans for assigned consultants to grow Allspring AUMManage complexity and operate across business unitsBe a visible and credible presence in the industry.Achieve key performance indicators: Business development, Client Satisfaction, Career Development and Operational EffectivenessBuild and maintain a culture of high performance and client focus that distinguishes the Allspring experienceCANDIDATEIdeal candidate is adept at independent decision making and problem solving. Consistently exceeds service needs of consultants and their underlying clients to produce significant and tangible growth and retention of AUM and revenue. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both with internal and external stakeholders.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS10+ years in the Defined Contribution marketBachelor's degreeCIMA or CFA designation preferredFINRA Series 7, 63 and 24 licensesDomain expertise in defined contribution space and exceptional investment acumenStrong collaboration, partnership, influence, and interpersonal skills.Proven analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong presentation and public speaking skillsTrack record of building high performing diverse teamsDemonstrated passion for developing and nurturing client relationships and strong industry contactsApproximately 50% of travel time requiredEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
