What You Will Do
We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager will lead the messaging, positioning, naming, and marketing strategy for our products and features, while working in close collaboration with our Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Partner, and Sales teams. You will continuously monitor the ever-evolving competitive landscape, develop our competitive messaging and positioning, and work cross-functionally to create enablement materials and communications, and be the expert our demand generation team can turn to when creating campaigns and content.
How You Will Spend Your Days:
Develop compelling product/feature narratives with clear, consistent and compelling messaging through a strong customer focus
Translate that messaging into creative and high-impact customer-facing materials such as solution sheets, infographics, customer emails, trainings, articles, blog posts and case studies
Utilize insights from customer and market research and apply them to influence product marketing strategy, ultimately to drive more awareness and adoption of Alchemer products
Plan and execute new product launch activities, building effective tools (i.e. sales enablement collateral like demo scripts, one sheets, deck templates) and techniques to maximize market penetration and sales impact
Collaborate on content and content strategy (e.g., white papers, email campaigns, website copy, blog posts, webinars) to support our demand generation and growth marketing efforts
Contribute to and execute on our go-to-market strategy in close collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success
Work closely with product management and technical teams to understand and translate technical and product features to benefits focused messaging
Work with our sales team to identify customers to interview in order to create customer case studies and collect testimonials
What You Bring to this Role:
5+ years of experience with a proven track record in product marketing and/or content strategy and developing highly effective product positioning, messaging, and marketing content
B2B enterprise software product marketing experience preferred
Someone who is equal parts strategic, analytical, and creative and gets things done
Storyteller with proven ability to articulate customer-facing product positioning and messaging, and create compelling stories for target audiences
Polished and compelling writing style (revel in the power of words and language), and delivers clear, concise marketing messaging
Proven and visible marketing experience driving adoption and expansion of a product
You must be a thinker and a doer, willing to jump in wherever needed and try your hand at new and unfamiliar projects
Skilled at working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity and building strong working relationships across the organization
Possess a highly collaborative and analytical approach, but also able to be flexible and excel when working independently
BA / BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar experience
Compensation for this position includes an annual base salary of $115,000 to $135,000, eligibility for an annual bonus, and eligibility to partake in the Employee Participation Program.
