Experience on Oracle Xstore POS (Point of Sale)10+ Yrs. Industry experienceStrong Testing experience in Xstore POS Front end and Back officeRich experience in Oracle Xcenter DB2+ Yrs. experience on POS automation with UFT, Selenium, TOSCASQL/DBStrong Leadership and Innovative skillsStrong Customer communicationWork experience on PS integration, API and Store appsRoles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop Test Strategy : Create comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases for Xstore POS features, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are covered.Lead Test Automation : Implement and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.Manual and Automated Testing : Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts for various POS functionalities, including transactions, promotions, and inventory management.Integration Testing : Ensure the POS system integrates smoothly with backend systems like ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.Performance and Load Testing : Conduct performance, scalability, and stress testing to ensure the system handles peak traffic during events like Black Friday.Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance on best practices.Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure testing aligns with business goals and project timelines.Defect Management : Manage the defect lifecycle, from reporting and tracking to resolution, ensuring timely fixes for critical issues.Hardware and Device Testing : Test the POS software on various hardware devices (scanners, printers, payment terminals) to ensure seamless operation in a retail environment.Stakeholder Reporting : Communicate testing progress, results, and risks to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.Work AuthorizationCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 and $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
