California .What's the role?As a Senior Account Manager, you will work with an exceptional team at Carl Zeiss Meditec. The Senior Account Manager is a motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, hunter mentality, skilled negotiator, and proven capital equipment sales experience. Responsibilities include the generation of new business equipment sales and profits (P&L) in a specific territory, committing to an annual sales budget, developing an annual business plan to achieve territory objectives, and forecasting monthly equipment pipeline. You must be a team player, develop excellent clinical and technical knowledge, and demonstrate high business acumen for the surgical market. You are expected to work effectively within your territory to ensure the growth of the entire Zeiss surgical equipment portfolio and optimize customer workflow experience. Reporting on activities weekly and representing the company with the highest standards of business ethics and professionalism is essential. You will also communicate ideas, market trends, or competitive activities to management.Sound Interesting?Here's what you'll do:Maintain currency of, and adhere to applicable GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for your region while managing a specific expense budget.Make scheduled personalized sales demonstrations to surgeons, operating room staff, and administration at facilities in your region.Work effectively in a team environment for lead sharing, account management, and account development.Maintain, analyze, and utilize territory records to efficiently organize, plan, execute, and measure results.Educate and follow up with surgeons, operating room staff, and administration on the operation and application of our products to ensure overall customer satisfaction.Provide timely, accurate, and constructive written and oral communications to management regarding expected sales and planned monthly activity.Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, and updates relative to opportunities, leads, and sales funnel.Develop and implement synergy opportunities among other Zeiss companies and corporate partners when such programs arise.Do you qualify?Four-year college degree or equivalent.Five plus (5+) years' sales experience.High level of technical/clinical product knowledge.Ability to manage multiple tasks.Strong organizational and communication skills.Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management.Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.We have amazing benefits to support you as an employee at ZEISS!MedicalVisionDental401k MatchingEmployee Assistance ProgramsVacation and sick payThe list goes on!The annual starting base salary for this position is $100,000 plus sales commission.The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, and complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.ZEISS is an EEO/AA/M/F/Disabled Veteran Employer.Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Lindsay Walker
