Types of procedures required.Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical unitsShift or schedule requirements.12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.Required skills and minimum years of experience.2-10 years’ experienceSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required.BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)Floating to other units/departments.Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nightsLaulima 1:6Cardiovascular 1:4Ratio may vary due to unexpected leavesDress Code.Professional nursing attire - clean scrubsTell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.Orientation time provided for each unitKahu Malama Nurses Job ID #247.
