Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,017 per week

Certification Details Experience with Pyxis medication system required. EPIC charting system proficiency preferred. BCLS and ACLS certifications required. Job Details Position: Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) Minimum of twelve months of experience in oncology, preferred experience in either PCU/Stepdown Contract Duration: 26 to 39 weeks with the potential for a permanent role at the conclusion of the contract. Flexibility to float to different units within the same specialty is expected. Regular work schedule includes 36 to 40 shifts per week during orientation and 36 shifts afterward. Rotating day and night shifts, alternating every 4 weeks as needed. Availability to work weekend shifts on an alternating basis is mandatory. Experience: 0 to 1 years of experience. Consideration for first-time travelers will be given. Familiarity with Pyxis medication system is necessary. Proficiency in EPIC charting system preferred. Certification requirements: BCLS, ACLS. Patient Focus: Strong dedication to fulfilling the full contract term, participating in upskilling, orientation, and expanding knowledge of oncology. Willingness to obtain chemo competency. Access to resources for reviewing ONS Chemo certification course materials. MS/TELE experience. Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Knowledge of Rapid Response Teams. Competency in gastrointestinal care. Proficient in feeding tube care and management. Skilled in IV therapy and phlebotomy. Previous experience with blood product administration. Understanding of peripheral line care and management. Proficiency in starting IVs. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in oncology, specifically in inpatient oncology and/or outpatient chemo infusion center. Job Requirements Minimum of twelve months experience in an oncology setting. At least 0 to 1 year(s) of experience in the healthcare field. Ability to work 36 to 40 shifts per week, including rotating weekends. Eligibility to work as a traveling nurse.
