Certification Details REQUIRED Certifications: ACLS, BCLS and NIH. Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty Job Details RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Job offers 1:5-6 nurse to patient ratios. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025. 36 Hours can be Offered 12 HR NIGHTS FLOATING IS REQUIRED AS NEEDED to similar units. REQUIRED Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per each 6 week schedule. Job Requirements Minimum Experience Required: 1 Year of Experience. Will take first time travelers: Unit WILL Accept 1st Time Travelers REQUIRED Skills: IV Start and Telemetry. Schedule Information Unit cannot promise a block schedule at any time. Will do their best to accommodate requests, but a block schedule is not guaranteed. Unit Specific Information Unit Details: CPPU is a 24 bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit. Average length of stay is 1.8-2.4 days. There is an ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) nurse available on the unit during peak. Additional Details PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Pre/Post Cath, Pre/Post PPM & AICD, Watchmen Procedures, Stress Tests, etc. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: CPPU is a 24 bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit. Average length of stay is 1.8-2.4 days. There is rapid patient turnover on the unit, daily.
